How do I know if I'm ready for a bookkeeper?

a) You're making steady money and you’re annoyed by, frustrated with or procrastinate on your books.

b) You’ve tried another bookkeeper, but feel like they didn't get you and you're still confused. 

c) You actually don’t mind doing your books, but it’s time to outsource it and focus on what you’re really good at.

I can’t afford a bookkeeper or I'm not a photographer. Will you still work with me? 

Our main clientele is photographers but we love serving any business and are comfortable with any entity, type or size of business.   Be sure to reach out to see if we will be a good fit for you.

How do you price your services?

It depends! We have a range of services that vary based on needs. Regardless, all packages have a flat monthly rate so that there are no surprise fees.


I’ve never hired a bookkeeper before. How exactly does this work?

Step 1 is to get you completely and properly set up in Quickbooks Online. Step 2 is to catch you up to date for the current year and get into a monthly routine. Each month we will take care of all of the bookkeeping tasks and communicate via a Google Sheet with any questions we have (we don’t guess).

We will not ask you for bank account login information. Everything is automated and securely imported from your bank to Quickbooks Online.


What software do you use? 

We work exclusively in Quickbooks Online.

We’re also familiar with client management programs that many photographers use - like 17hats, Dubsado and Honeybook. These programs integrate nicely with Quickbooks. 


What do you need from me to get started?

When we partner together, we send a list of documents and action items for you. We also schedule an onboarding meeting to walk you through any additional setup. You can expect emails back and forth during our setup process and in early months of our partnership. As we get to know your business and transactions, we’ll have less questions for you each month.


Can you catch up my books from the beginning of the year?

YES! In fact, we prefer to start from January 1 of the current year in order to make sure that everything is 100% accurate.
